Does betadine make the funnel more lubricious?
Our lubricious coating consists of a dual-laminate
hyaluronic acid and is the best in class. Therefore, no additional lubricating agents are
necessary. However, if you wish to add Betadine, there is no contraindication to doing
so.
Should I cut the funnel higher when using high profile or highly cohesive implants?
The design improvements of the iNPLANT Plus include simplification of the markings for
cutting of the funnel tip as well as significantly improved lubricity. This design permits
delivery of textured and high profile implants at one of the three cut lines indicated. Of course, these are general guidelines and surgeon's discretion is advised as grip strength and technique vary from user to user.
Can I put two implants in my iNPLANT+ funnel?
Yes! Double loading is one of many benefits of using the iNPLANT Funnel.
Is it necessary to cut across the GlideTrack?
No. The iNPLANT Plus has been redesigned to only require a scissor cut across the vinyl
at the tip but not across the GlideTrack, making it much simpler to use than previous
versions of the device.
Is it necessary to align the tracks of the GlideTrack to reclose the funnel after loading?
No! Our new design makes both opening and closing of the GlideTrack very simple, while
maintaining the advantages of the track.
